Andy Lopez | Managing Director

Andy Lopez started Out There Productions in 1996. He has a serious passion for major public celebrations – he loves delivering events with a purpose, and the bigger the crowd the better.

Andy’s success comes from his ability to lead great project teams, and has a deep understanding of what makes authentic and memorable experiences for audiences and brands.

Andy became a co-owner of the Summernats Car Festival in 2009, and the motoring lifestyle arm has grown to include MotorEx, Red CentreNATS, and the brand new RockyNats.

AndREW Bee | Creative Director

Respected artistic and music director and a founder of Out There Productions, Andrew “Mr” Bee is also Director and co-owner of Summernats, MotorEx, Red CentreNATS and Rockynats.

Andrew has led the technical production of our many complex live events and shows for over twenty years.

He also leads out content production services, creating all forms of cutting edge multimedia for our clients and events.

Weronika Bejnar | Event Manager

Based in our Sydney office, Weronika has been working with Out There Productions since 2013. In that time, she has delivered hundreds of events for sporting and government clients.

Weronika is the account manager for our Western Sydney Wanderers contract, delivering match day operations and sport presentation services. She is also responsible for managing the MotorEx car show, including awards and judging, bringing 900 vehicles on site across a variety of categories.

Ben Schubert | Event TEAM Manager

Ben Schubert’s experience in managing major events extends from the Vancouver and London Olympics to Melbourne Commonwealth Games and Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne, and he is project director for the new Rockynats car festival.

An experienced risk and safety professional, Ben has rapidly become an expert in COVID planning for complex major events in Australia. He has managed COVID plans for Rockynats and Beef Australia in QLD, as well as the Summernats Rev Rock n Roll festival in the ACT, ensuring compliance and management of risk for all stakeholders.

ELLIE THORLEY | EVENT MANAGER

With over 10 years of events management experience, Ellie uses her trademark skills of problem solving, programming and event logistics to help produce automotive events. She excels at logistics and operations, and her attention to detail means that events go smoothly from concept to completion.

Good at wearing multiple hats, Ellie is adept at responding quickly to changing circumstances whilst nurturing productive relationships with both clients and suppliers, while minimizing cost.

GRACE PROSSER | EVENT MANAGER

Grace is an experienced events manager and has been with the business since 2015. Grace has a strong focus on trade fair and partnerships across our diverse event portfolio and specialises in building meaningful and lasting relationships with sponsors and traders.

Grace has an innate knowledge of what it takes to deliver our partner’s objectives, and what it takes to bring them to life at events through dynamic and stand out activations.

Cooperation, commitment, and communication are the cornerstones to her partner relationships.

MATILDA SIMPSON-BREWER | EVENT COORDINATOR

After completing a Diploma of Event Management in 2017, Matilda has worked with the team since 2018, and joined as a full time events coordinator in 2020.

Matilda has worked on a range of events, including Summernats, MotorEx, the annual Logie Awards, Melbourne Good Food and Wine Show, and Cruise for Charity. 

Matilda has a passion for all things automotive – especially Drag Racing.

ARIA FERGUSON | MARKETING COORDINATOR

Utilising her Bachelor of Business degree and experience with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Aria brings a proactive, positive, and high energy personality to the team as well as a unique perspective to our creativity and teamwork.

Aria’s role includes overall coordination of our complex and diverse marketing channels. This includes digital and social media marketing, as well as development and analysis of corporate and public engagement based on digital assets.

She also manages production for our merchandise business “Streetwise Merchandise” and works directly with sponsors and exhibitors on enhancing event opportunities.

Jack Rindfleisch | SOCIAL MEDIA coordinator

Jack has been with the business since 2017. His role is to develop and share engaging content across all our social platforms.

He’s an accomplished content creator, event coordinator and has a keen interest in music and video production.

Jack is mainly focused on the automotive lifestyle festival part of our business. As a car enthusiast himself, he understands very well the content that drives likes and shares, and has been instrumental in building our social media numbers for our car events, particularly with under 30s.
