Andy Lopez - Managing Director

Andy Lopez is an experienced producer and director, and has brought together Australia’s foremost performing artists, creative directors, and technical personnel to produce a number of major events all around Australia. His ACT credits include Australia Day Live, Celebrate and Symphony in the Park ACT, the CA Brumbies and the recent new Enlighten Festival with Frankie Valli, Chris Isaak, George Benson and INXS. National credits include the 2009 World Masters Games Opening and Closing Ceremony, World Youth Day 2008 Opening Mass, Papal Welcome, Evening Vigil and Final Mass; the Australia Day Spectacular at Darling Harbour; National Australia Day Fireworks in Canberra; the World Police and Fire Games Opening Ceremony; Australia Day Live Concerts and two NRL Grand Finals. Andy has formal qualifications in Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).


Andrew Bee - Producer/Director

Andrew Bee is a respected artistic and music director, technical producer, and has worked with Andy Lopez for over 10 years. His wealth of talent and experience allows him to vitalise our artistic vision musically and technically. Andrew’s area of expertise is in Music direction. He has produced, directed and music directed some of the most complex live events in Australia. He is the current Technical Producer and Associate Director for the NSW Schools Spectacular held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, a role he has performed since 1992. Andrew’s specific skills are in the design and delivery of live music in major events. In 2001, he was awarded a Centenary of Federation medal for his contribution to the 2001 Centenary of Federation Celebrations. He has formal qualifications in Bachelor of Music (Education) and a Diploma of Audio Engineering.


Meredith Burton - Senior Event Manager

Meredith joined the OTP team in January, 2009 after a 23 year career in education. Her recent event credits include the NRL Allstars Bumehla Festival, the national Vibe Alive Festivals, the Australia Day Spectacular at Darling Harbour and the World Masters Games Opening Ceremony. Meredith brings to the OTP team high level skills in project leadership and event management and she’s established herself as a specialist in developing events for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth and communities. Her formal qualifications include Bachelor of Music Education, Certificate III in Entertainment, Theatre and Events (Technical Operations) and Certificate IV in Workplace assessment and training.

Brigitte Jonas - Event Manager

Brigitte has been with the company since October 2008. After completing her HSC at the Conservatorium of Music High School, Brigitte studied a Bachelor of Dramatic Art in Technical Production NIDA (2005). Since her graduation, Brigitte has worked in the events industry specialising in Site and Production Management of festivals and outdoor special events. Some of Brigitte’s major projects with OTP include Production Management of the Vibe Alive Festivals 2008 to 2011, Site and Operations Management for the Supafest 2011 national tour and Production Management of the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation’s Glamorama (formerly Glamstand) at Mardi Gras 2009 – 2011. Brigitte was also the Assistant Producer of Australia Day Live 2011 having Site Managed the event in 2009 & 2010.


Sophia Habib - Event Manager

Sophia has a strong background in project management. She had previously been a Project Officer for the Office of Protocol and Special Events for the Sydney Harbour Bridge 75th Anniversary, Australia Day State Reception, and worked for many years with the Mardi Gras Marketing and Operations team. Sophia began with OTP in February 2008, and since this time has coordinated and managed events including Canberra’s Celebrate & Symphony In The Park, National Australia Day Canberra, Brumbies Rugby, Youth Off The Streets Annual Dinner, Canberra Nara Candle Festival, The Enlighten Festival and the V8 Supercar Gala Ball and Breakfast. Sophia’s qualifications include a Combined Bachelor of Science and Commerce (Marketing, Finance and Psychology) and an Advanced Diploma in Event and Venue Management.

Amber Alge - Event Coordinator

After having completed a diploma in journalism, Amber began working as an event journalist at the 2005 Canoe Slalom World Championships and the 2005 National Gymnastics Championships. She has had various feature articles printed in the St George and Sutherland Shire Leader, and has worked as a production assistant for Fuel TV and MTV. Joining the OTP team in 2006 she has filled the roles of event assistant, event coordinator and stage manager on events such as the 2007 World Police and Fire Games, World Youth Day, Australia Day Spectacular, the Lions International Concert, the World Masters Games Opening Ceremony, Vibe Alive and the Pride Of Australia Awards. Amber also has an Executive Certificate in Event Management.


Claire Sullivan - Event Assistant

Claire Sullivan joined OTP in 2010. She jumped straight into the role of Registration Manager and Schools Liaison for the Australia-wide Vibe Alive Festivals. Claire coordinates the schools right around the country for the event. Claire has also worked as event assistant on a number of OTP’s major events, including the Australia Day Spectacular in Darling Harbour, the NRL Grand Final Fan Party, the NRL All Stars Bumehla Festival and the V8 Supercars Gala Dinner. Her formal qualification is a Diploma of Event Management.

Caroline Cheung - Accountant

Caroline Cheung is a witty accounting professional with sharp business skills. She has been providing high level value added advice, commentary and consulting information to the company’s senior management and team members since 2007. She has excellent communication skills and is able to tackle everyday challenges with her wealth of experience and knowledge in accounting and business to achieve the optimal outcome for a business within the diverse climate it can face these days. She has completed a Bachelor of Economics (Major in Professional Accounting) and is a member of CPA Australia.
